I was shopping for a flake like pigment for a project for a customer of mine. I had asked the spray source customer service if they had any photos of what these flakes looked like before being mixed with paint base and was told no because they’re a small business and dont necessarily have time to photograph everything. As a small business myself, I totally get it but I also would have taken a moment to help a customer feel comfortable with what they were purchasing. None the less, I ended up ordering a sample (over $13 with shipping for a very small bag) only to get a powder consistency product. I emailed support again asking if I received the correct thing (I thought maybe i got the pearl powder vs flake version on accident) and the screenshot is the response i received. I was still unsure because per their email & what the product description says, the flakes are ‘large uncrushed particles of different sizes’ which wasn’t what I received. I asked for clarification without response. I emailed again and was told yes this is what their flakes look like. I asked if they happen to sell any genuine flakes but never got a response. I’m really not a difficult customer, but the lack of communication and assistance was disheartening.
